With summer upon us, now’s a great opportunity to get outside and get our hands dirty supporting local agriculture! Please join Cottonwood Resource Council (CRC) on Saturday, June 17th for a Farm Tour and Work Day at Living Soil Farms!
The Yellowstone Valley Food Hub started back in 2011 when Annika Charter-Williams, a Roundup rancher, and several other producers started a local food-buying club. Later, the Yellowstone Valley Citizens Council, an affiliate of the Northern Plains Resource Council, began helping producers organize the Food Hub.
Are you up to the challenge? For the month of August, Northern Plains Resource Council is challenging you (and ourselves) to eat more local foods, to ask for more local foods in your community, and to help support Montana agriculture in a giant way.
