With summer upon us, now’s a great opportunity to get outside and get our hands dirty supporting local agriculture!
Please join Cottonwood Resource Council (CRC) on Saturday, June 17th for a Farm Tour and Work Day at Living Soil Farms!
Saturday, June 17th
10:00 am – 12:00 pm Farm Tour
1:00 pm – 3:00 pm Work Time

CRC member Cameron Skinner owns and operates Living Soil Farms and has been implementing regenerative practices to increase soil health and raise high-quality local vegetables and eggs.
From 10 am to 12 pm, Cameron will give us a tour of his farm, share about the regenerative practices he’s implementing, and answer questions. We’ll have a short break for lunch and then from 1 pm to 3 pm, anyone interested will get their hands dirty helping Cameron to move his plants from the greenhouse and out into the ground! You’re welcome to participate in as much of the activities as you want! Snacks will be provided, but please bring your own sack lunch.
Please dress for the weather, and don’t forget the following items:
- A sack lunch
- Water bottle
- Rain jacket
- Sunscreen
- Hat
- Work gloves
- Small shovel or gardening trowel if you have one
We hope you can join us for a fun day of supporting local food and agriculture!
