Miles City Town Hall: Stop MDU’s Rate Increase

Wednesday, May 3rd from 6:30 pm-7:30 pm

2715 Dickinson St, Miles City, MT, 59301

In December 2022, Montana Dakota Utilities (MDU) filed for a rate increase with the Montana Public Service Commission (PSC). This proposal increases rates by 19.2% for residential electricity customers, 15.1% for small businesses, and 12.9% for large businesses. By MDU’s calculations, this will increase electricity bills for the average residential customer by over $200 a year.

On Wednesday, May 3rd at 6:30 pm Dawson Resource Council is hosting a town hall meeting in Miles City to inform the public and join together to fight the MDU rate increase. Join us to learn more about the rate increase and get your questions answered. There will also be time to write comments to the PSC telling them: “Do NOT approve MDU’s rate hike!”
