At Northern Plains, and within our affiliate groups, we have some big goals that we want to accomplish over this coming year like bringing more solar to our communities, reforming our broken livestock market, stopping the Laurel methane plant, and so much more. Northern Plains is a people powered organization and our ability to accomplish our goals relies on on growing the numbers within our organization and movement. That’s why membership recruitment skills are so important!
If you’re interested in strengthening your membership recruitment skills, we’ll be hosting a virtual membership recruitment training on Monday, July 10th, at 6 pm. Whether you’re a longtime member and want to brush up on the basics, or new to the process of recruitment, there will be something for everyone in this training. You will be able to work on finding out what issues a potential member cares about and how to talk about the benefits of membership with Northern Plains. We’ll also talk through all your questions and challenges, and learn from staff and experienced members.
Recruiting new folks into this important work can feel daunting, so this is a great opportunity to gain valuable skills and practice that will make the process easier. We hope to see you there!
