Born and raised in Billings, Montana, Emma graduated from Rocky Mountain College with degrees in Environmental Science and Geography, where she focused on ecology, food issues, water rights, and sustainable development. After graduation, Emma worked as an Intern at the City of Billings Active Transportation Department, where she developed a passion for communications. Emma joined the Northern Plains team in 2025, excited to contribute to an organization that helps protect the land and community she deeply loves.
