Billings Climate Week is June 5-11! Get ready for a weeklong series of events hosted to uplift climate issues in Montana. Come out to Billings for any number of events to learn more about climate change in Montana and the work we can do today to make a difference.
To kick off the week, there will be a Climate and Energy Panel on Monday, June 5 from 6-8 pm at Mayflower Church with panelists Monica Tranel, Derf Johnson (MEIC), Dr. Steve Running, and Steve Loken, owner of Loken Builders. The panelists will cover everything from NorthWestern Energy’s rate case and their methane-fired power plant in Laurel, the implications of the energy legislation that came out of the 2023 Legislative Session, and solutions moving forward to help us transition out of fossil fuels.
