Tell JPMorgan Chase: NO to Keystone XL!
With a permit through Nebraska in hand, TransCanada is yet another step closer to making the Keystone XL tar sands crude oil pipeline a reality. Keystone XL poses a critical threat to Montana’s water—the Missouri and Yellowstone River, along with the dozens of smaller rivers and streams the pipeline would cross. And when our water is threatened, so are our communities and our ways of life.
But in December, two credit facilities totaling $1.5 billion that would provide funds for TransCanada to build the Keystone XL pipeline will expire.
Which means, JPMorgan Chase and the other major global banks face a crucial choice: Will they invest in the future, or continue to fund the dirty infrastructure of the past?
This is a defining moment for our energy future and now is the time to add your voice! Urge JP Morgan Chase and the other big banks to stop financing dangerous tar sands crude oil infrastructure.
Submit the letter below (or customize it as you wish) and say NO to Keystone XL.
