Farm Tour with Sleeping Giant Citizens Council

July 28 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

Helena’s local food system has many successes to celebrate, but of course those successes don’t come without some challenges. On July 28th, learn about both with a one-of-a-kind farm tour at Johnson’s Nursery and Gardens.

Join the conversation as we learn from innovative producers, showcase the practices and principles that help cultivate healthy soil, and improve our food literacy as we work together towards a more resilient local food system. We’ll be out in the field looking at soil, exploring different aspects of individual operations, and learning how we can all expand local food access in our region. Whether you’re a producer, urban gardener, or consumer of good food, this event will offer something new for everyone AND opportunities to connect with like-minded folks!
