CCRC’s 2020 Annual Meeting: Montana’s Energy Future

February 27 @ 6:00 pm

Montana’s energy future is a HOT topic these days. You can see it in the public furor over NorthWestern Energy’s decision to reinvest in coal-fired power by nearly doubling its stake in Colstrip. And you can see it in the decision of the world’s largest asset manager (BlackRock Capital Investment) to put NorthWestern and other companies in which it invests on notice to ensure those companies are taking action to meet targets set forth in the Paris Climate Agreement.

Please join Carbon County Resource Council on Thursday, February 27, for our 2020 Annual Meeting: Shaping Montana’s Energy Future. Hear from Absaroka Energy CEO Carl Borquist about the Gordon Butte pumped hydro storage facility near Martinsdale, MT, and about what this project could mean for Montana’s energy future.

Food and refreshments will be provided. Bring your family and friends!
