Billings City Council, mayoral candidate forums set for this weekend – Billings Gazette, Aug. 25, 2017

The public is invited to attend a series of weekend Billings City Council and mayoral candidate forums.

The forums are being moderated by KTVQ’s Dustin Klemann and were organized by a number of groups, including Forward Montana, Yellowstone Valley Citizens Council, the League of Women Voters of Billings, Billings Kiwanis, Not In Our Town, Billings Rising, Standing Up for Racial Justice, Billings TrailNet and the Yellowstone County Area Human Trafficking Task Force.

Here’s the forum schedule for Saturday:

  • 10 a.m. — Ward 2 candidates at Castle Rock Park, West Wicks Lane at Nutter Blvd.
  • 2 p.m. — Ward 4 candidates at Veterans Park, 2609 13th Street West
  • 5 p.m. — Ward 5 candidates at Millice Park, 29th Street West and Central Ave.

Sunday’s schedule:

  • 1 p.m. — Ward 3 candidates at Central Park, Eighth Street West and Central Ave.
  • 5 p.m. — Ward 1 candidates at Pioneer Park, Parkhill Drive and Third Street West
  • 7 p.m. — Mayoral candidates at Pioneer Park, Parkhill Drive and Third Street West.
